NW Ohio Innocence Clinic v. Lucas Cty. Prosecutor's Office

Syllabus
On respondent's objections and requester's motion for leave, the court denied, as moot, respondent's objections and denied requester's motion for leave to file interrogatories. Based on the court's independent review, the court determined that a non-lawyer's initiation of lawsuit on behalf of an entity and the non-attorney's signing of the complaint in the case, resulted in a complaint that was a legal nullity, which in turn, required dismissal of the complaint without prejudice, rejection of the report and recommendation, denial of the objections as moot, and denial of requesters' motion for leave.
