Syllabus

<p>An attorney at law, appointed by the court of common pleas to conduct a suit in behalf of the county against the sureties of a prothonotary who had misappropriated moneys paid into court by order of the court, and directed to be deposited in bank, is entitled to compensation for his services rendered in such suit, and the liability of the county is fixed therefor by the action of the court, and the ratification of the county commissioners.</p>
