Syllabus
<p>Bankruptcy (§ 346*) — Debts Entitled to Priority — Cost or Preserving Estate — Taxes.</p> <p>In the distribution of the estate of a bankrupt, the actual and necessary cost of preserving the estate subsequent to filing the petition, which is an expense necessary to enable the court to exercise its jurisdiction, is entitled to priority of payment over taxes due the. state.</p> <p>[Ed.
