Syllabus
<p>Statute of frauds — Oral agreement to pay the debt of another— Act of April 26,1855, P. L. 808.</p> <p>Where a father orally agrees ''to be responsible for the payments for repairs to a part of an automobile owned by his son and in the hands of a machine company at the time for repairs, and such repairs are done for the son, charged to him and paid by him, and subsequently other repairs are done for the son and paid for by him, Without any further undertaking by the father/ the latter cannot be held responsible on his original promise, for a third job of repairs ordered by the son, but not paid by him.</p>
