Syllabus

<p>1. Increase of Cattle.—In a suit for a cow and her increase, it appearing that defendant had taken the cow and while the cow was in his possession he had the two calves sued for, held that proof of ownership of the cow entitled plaintiff to judgment for the increase also.</p> <p>2. Measure of Damages —In such suit the measure or extent of recovery would be the value of the property at the time of the verdict, or where restitution is ordered at the time of refusal by defendant to comply with the writ.</p>
