Syllabus

<p>Ejectment.—A Grantee of a Deed Absolute on Its Face cannot Maintain ejectment thereon, where his grantor merely held the title as security for a debt which the grantee paid, and at the same time executed a bond to the original mortgagor in which he agreed to convey if the amount expended by him was repaid, with interest, by a specified time, since the instrument was a mortgage.1</p>
