<p>1. The common-law rules of pleading are in force in this State except as modified by statute or the rules promulgated by the Supreme Court under statutory authority.</p> <p>2. At common, law where too many defendants are joined, and the misjoinder appears on the face of the declaration, a demurrer is available to the defendants.</p>
