<p>Adverse Possession—Title Acquired by—Payment or Taxes Essential. — Under section 325 of the Code of Civil Procedure, the title to a piece of land forming part of a larger tract, which is assessed as an entirety to the real owner, cannot be acquired by adverse possession unless the adverse claimant pays or offers to pay the taxes on the land in his possession.</p>
