<p>Corporation — Witts—Devise—City oe Charteston. — In this State a corporation may take and hold real estate by devise under the general authority to hold, purchase, receive, alienate, &c., in the absence of legislative restraint, and su’ch authority being conferred on the city of Charleston by its charter, it may become a devisee.</p>
