Syllabus

<p>Amendment—Limitation.—The addition of the name of a silent partner in an amended petition filed in the firm-name or enlarging the prayer for relief by amendment, is not a statement of a new cause of action, and will not subject the amendment to a defense of limitation which would not be applicable to the original petition.</p>
