<p>Mortgage—Written defeasance—Absolute deed—Evidence—Act of June 8, 1881, P. L. 84.</p> <p>A bill in equity for a reconveyance of land on the ground that a deed absolute conveying the land to the defendant was in fact a mortgage, cannot be sustained where there is no satisfactory evidence that there ever was any written defeasance against the absolute deed.</p>
