Syllabus

<p>Road law — Damages—Opening streets — Change of grade.</p> <p>In estimating the damages caused by opening a street through a tract of land, irregular in shape on the surface, at some places much higher, at others much lower than the adjacent streets, allowance cannot be made for the cost of filling and removal that may be necessary to bring the property fronting on the street into conformity with the grade of the street as established by the city.</p>
