Syllabus

<p>Will—Construction — Devise to wife during widowhood — Fee simple estate.</p> <p>1. A devise by a husband to his wife of all his personal and real estate “to be hers absolutely, as long as she remains [his] widow,” gives the widow an absolute or fee simple estate, with the single qualification that it may be defeated by her remarriage, and if phe dies unmarried, her executor, acting under a power in her will, may convey such estate.</p>
