Syllabus

<p>Where the plaintiff in a judgment against two or more defendants is without knowledge of the relations of the latter with each other, as principals or sureties, or that one tract of one of them, subject to the lien of the judgment, has been conveyed, he has the right, upon the subsequent sale of another tract of the same defendant, to release the lien of the judgment therefrom and proceed against the tract first conveyed, unaffected by the provisions of § 9, act of April 22, 1856, P. L. 534.</p>
