Syllabus
<p>1. The words “goods and chattels ” in §§4, 5 and 6 of the registry acts, Code of 1873, p. 897, do not include a mere chose in x action, as a debt, or claim on another for money due; and the assignment of such debt or claim for value, though not recorded, will be good against a subsequent attachment upon such debt or claim.</p> <p>2. The words “ goods or chattels ” in §§ 4, o and 6 of the registry act refer to and only include personal property which is visible, tangible, or movable.</p>
