Syllabus

¶1 Appellant, Cody Lee Ketchum, 1 was convicted by a jury in the District Court of Pittsburg County, Case No. CF-2022-324, of Count 1: Murder in the First Degree, in violation of 21 O.S.Supp.2012, § 701.7 (A); and Count 2: Destroying Evidence, a misdemeanor, in violation of 21 O.S.2011, § 454 . The jury sentenced Ketchum to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole on Count 1 and one year in the county jail on Count 2.
