Karlen v. Saleeb

Syllabus

The plaintiff G appealed from the trial court's judgment, rendered following a hearing held pursuant to Audubon Parking Associates Ltd. Partnership v. Barclay & Stubbs, Inc. (225 Conn. 804), granting the defendants' motion to enforce a settlement agreement that had been reached between the parties in the underlying action. G claimed that the court improperly determined that the parties had reached an enforceable settlement agreement. Held: The trial court's conclusion that the parties had reached a legally enforce- able settlement agreement was legally and logically correct, as that court's finding that G had agreed to the clear and unambiguous terms set forth in the settlement agreement was supported by the evidence in the record and, therefore, was not clearly erroneous. Argued September 9, 2025—officially released March 31, 2026

Judges: Alvord; Wilson; Sheldon
