Syllabus

The plaintiff, Jeanette Runey, appealed from a Superior Court order denying her motion for a preliminary injunction filed against her neighbor, Wayne S. Faring. On appeal, the plaintiff argued that the motion justice failed to consider a prior judgment issued by a different Superior Court justice. The Supreme Court held that the plaintiff's appeal was interlocutory because a party is not permitted to directly appeal the denial of a motion for a preliminary injunction. Therefore, the Court denied and dismissed the appeal.
