Syllabus
<p>Syllabus.</p> <p>1. The disehai-ge of the original debtor is a sufficient consideration for the assumption of the debt by another.</p> <p>2. Section 11 of Act 176 of 1908 does not prohibit a brewery from loaning to one who conducts a barroom the funds he requires to obtain his license or to pay the rent of the premises wherein his business is established.</p> <p>3. Clear and convincing proof will be required of him who challenges the legality and reality of. his own act.</p>
