Syllabus

<p>Syllabus.</p> <p>1. The barge “Laura Lee” was in good condition, sound and seaworthy when chartered by defendant for services in connection with the removal of garbage.</p> <p>2. While in the possession and service of defendants she was lost.</p> <p>3. It is found that the immediate and direct cause of the loss was the unskillful, faulty, negligent way in which the barge was loaded, causing her to be twisted out of shape, to spring leaks and to sink ; and for her value defendant is held liable.</p>
