Syllabus

<p>1. Bankruptcy—Failure op Bankrupt to Surrender Property—Contempt— Evidence.</p> <p>On a rule for contempt against a bankrupt for failure to deliver all of bis property to tbe trustee, evidence reviewed, and held to justify a finding that be bad unlawfully retained goods of the value of $1,063.94, which be should be required to surrender.</p> <p>2. Same—Jurisdiction.</p> <p>A federal district court, sitting as a court of bankruptcy, has jurisdiction to proceed against a bankrupt for contempt, where be has failed to turn over all of his property to the trustee.</p>
