Syllabus

The petitioner seeks relief from the trial court's orders of October 2, 2023, and October 10, 2023. On October 13, 2023, the Supreme Court issued a rule to show cause why the trial court did not err in denying a motion to quash a subpoena for the assigned prosecutor to testify at the defendant's trial. The respondents are directed to file a written answer on or before November 13, 2023. The petitioner has 21 days from receipt of the answer to reply. Opinion issued June 3, 2024
