Syllabus
The respondent father appealed from the judgment of the trial court for the petitioner, the Commissioner of Children and Families, terminating his parental rights as to his minor child. He claimed that the court improperly determined that he had failed to achieve a sufficient degree of personal rehabilitation as required by statute (§ 17a-112 (j) (3) (B) (i)). Held: There was sufficient evidence in the record to support the trial court's conclusion that the respondent father had failed to achieve a sufficient degree of rehabilitation pursuant to § 17a-112 (j) (3) (B) (i) that would encourage a belief that, in a reasonable time, he could assume a responsible position in his child's life. Argued November 12, 2024—officially released January 3, 2025
Judges: Moll; Clark; Lavine
