<p>Municipal Corporations (264)—Confirmation of Assessments— Appeal—Filing Transcript—Excuse for Failure. While the filing of a transcript within ten days under Rem. Code, § 7892-22, is a jurisdictional step in the taking of an appeal from the confirmation of an assessment roll, it will not work a dismissal of the appeal where timely demand was made upon the city clerk and the failure to file the same within time was due to the inability of the clerk to prepare the transcript.</p>
