Syllabus
Permanent custody; failure to protect children; ineffective assistance of counsel; weight of the evidence; criminal conviction; interpreter services. Judgment affirmed. The trial court's judgment granting permanent custody of mother's four children was not against the manifest weight of the evidence. The record demonstrates that mother failed to protect her children and she failed to remedy that concern throughout the case. Evidence of criminal conviction of one of mother's boyfriends was conclusive proof of his sexual molestation of one of mother's children. Mother failed to demonstrate that her counsel was ineffective. The record demonstrates that mother had meaningful interpretation services throughout the proceedings.
