Syllabus

The trial court did not err by granting appellees' petition to adopt a child in their care. Appellant-birthmother had had no contact with the child and had failed to provide for his support and maintenance during the year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition, without justifiable cause. Judgment affirmed.
