Syllabus

The trial court correctly determined that father's consent to a step-parent adoption was not required because he had no contact with his children for four years before the filing of the adoption petition and there was not \justifiable cause\ why he did not have \more than de minimis contact with the minor for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the petition\ R.C. 3107.07(A). Judgment affirmed.
