Syllabus

<p>'Garnishment. Exemption suggested. Claimant.</p> <p>Where a garnishee has suggested that the debt due from him is claimed by the defendant as being exempt from liability to his creditors, under Code 1906, § 2346, authorizing such procedure, the court can take no further steps in the case until the process required by the statute has been served on defendant, and a judgment awarding the funds to a claimant before the service of such process is erroneous.</p>
