Syllabus

<p>1. Contract under seal—modification by subsequent parol agreement. A sealed executory contract can. not be modified or in part changed bjr parol so as to authorize either party to sue upon it.</p> <p>2. So, a contract under seal for the sale and delivery of one thousand hogs of a certain weight and quality, at a price and by a day named in the agreement, can not be changed by a new parol agreement for the delivery of a less number of hogs, founded on no new consideration.</p>
