Syllabus

<p>1. Costs—Liability to Oeficeks.</p> <p>The remedy by which officers of court may exact payment of or bond for their costs is not affected by the condition of the case as between the litigants; and the plaintiff in suit or in writ is primarily responsible for costs at all times, even after judgment has been rendered in his favor.</p> <p>2. Appeal—Effect of Decision—Ancillary Sequestration.</p> <p>Where the trial court issued an ancillary sequestration after the main suit had been transferred to the appellate court, held, that the decision of the main suit on appeal did not operate as a decision on the sequestration, and that after the decision of the main suit jurisdiction remained in the trial court to pass on the sequestration.</p> <p>(Syllabus by the Court.)</p>
