<p>Statutes — Gambling act of 1794 — Wagers on stock not recoverable.</p> <p>Dealing in stocks, even on a margin, is not gambling, and a plaintiff may not recover under the Act of April 22,1794, 3 Sm. L. 177, for wagers or bets made with the defendant upon the future rise and fall of the market price of divers stocks usually dealt in upon the public stock exchange.</p>
