Syllabus
<p>Damages — Mortgagor—Mortgagee—Grantee.—An action for damages will lie by a mortgagee against a grantee of a mortgagor for tbe removal by him before sale of buildings put on premises by him; but the amount of damages cannot exceed the balance due on the mortgage debt after applying proceeds of land, or the difference between the value of the premises before and after removal.</p>
