Syllabus

<p>An expert witness must have a knowledge of the constituents of an article, to be permitted to testify as an expert on the question of the adulteration of the article.</p> <p>While an offer of evidence to show tests made with an alleged adulterated article is admissible in evidence, as facts yet, where the offer includes testimony as to the character of the article, by one not an expert, it should be rejected.</p>
