<p>.1. Deed —Married woman's power to incumber separate estate.— Tbe wife, when joined by her husband, may, without consideration accruing to her own benefit, secure the debt of a third party by deed of trust on her separate property, if it be made and acknowledged in the manner prescribed by the statute for the conveyance of her separate estate.</p>
