Syllabus

<p>The statute of limitations begins to run against an action against a stockholder in an insolvent corporation, in the hands of a receiver, to recover unpaid assessments on his stock, when the court orders the assessment to be made.</p> <p>When such a call is made the action, in the District of Columbia where the common law prevails, must be brought in the name of the company.</p>
