Syllabus

Liens — Lien of a verdict, not indefinite — Judgment.

The law does not give to a verdict a lien of indefinite duration and limit the lien of a judgment on that verdict to five years. A proper construction of the Act of March 23, 1877, P. L. 34, forbids that the lien of a verdict shall continue longer than the lien of a judgment.
