<p>Where judgment creditors procure the appointment of a receiver to operate an insolvent railroad for their protection and benefit a Court of quity may on a proper showing give to the wages of engineers and others engaged in operating the railroad during the receivership or a short time thereto fore, -priority in payment over the judgment creditors from the corpus of the railroad property.</p>
