<p>Perpetuities — Donation to Pious Uses.</p> <p>A condition of inalienability attached to a donation for pious uses is void, and reputed not written — both as creating a tenure of. property not provided for by our Code, and therefore impliedly forbidden; and as putting property out of commerce, and therefore contrary to public policy.</p> <p>[Ed.
