<p>COUNTY TREASURER — LIABILITY FOB MONEY DEPOSITED IN BANK.</p> <p>Under the constitution and statutes of this state a county treasurer is held strictly accountable for all public funds coining into his hands, and the exercise by him of ordinary care in the selection of banks in which tp deposit such funds, will not excuse him from fully accounting for the moneys deposited therein, in case of the subsequent insolvency of the banks, even if the county has not provided him with a suitable and safe place in which to-keep its funds. (Hoyt, C. J., dissents).</p>
