Syllabus

<p>1. Notice—attachment for contempt. In a proceeding against a party by attachment for an alleged contempt for disobedience to an order of the court, it is not necessary that notice of the proceeding shall be given the party before the attachment can properly issue.</p> <p>2. The attachment, in such case, is merely a process, to arrest the body of the person complained of, and bring him before the court to show cause why he should not be adjudged guilty and punished for the contempt.</p>
