<p>Doweb—allowance to widow in lieu of dower under see. 38, of dower act— whether equity has jurisdiction to change it. Where a widow has petitioned to recover dower, and by reason of the indivisibility of the property an allowance has been made to her, under the 38th section of the Chapter on Dower, in lieu of dower, the sum so fixed can not afterwards be changed b)' a court of equity by reason of the property subsequently becoming greatly enhanced or depreciated in value.</p>
