<p>1. In a prosecution for murder the defense of self defense is not sustained where it appears that the defendant killed the deceased before using all reasonable means in his power and consistent with his own safety to avoid the danger and ¡avert the necessity of taking the life of the deceased.</p> <p>2. Evidence examined and found sufficient to support a verdict of manslaughter.</p>
