Syllabus

If the moving party properly supports a motion for summary judgment, the nonmoving party must respond by establishing that a genuine issue of material fact exists for trial in order to defeat the motion for summary judgment. If the nonmoving party does not respond with evidentiary materials that satisfy the requirements of Civ.R. 56, then summary judgment is appropriate.
