<p>Replevin—Destruction op Replevied Property by Act op God Pending Action.—A plaintiff not being the owner of goods, who replevies them from the real owner, holds them in his own wrong and at his own risk, and when judgment is rendered against him for the return of the property or its value, he can not be excused from satisfying the judgment under a plea that the property has been lost in his hands, even by act of God.</p>
