Syllabus

<p>Municipal Bonds. Variance from authorizing statute as to interest. Curative statute. Bond, fide holder.</p> <p>Where the Legislature of this State, by statute, authorizes the election required by the Constitution, and the issuance of county railroad-aid bonds bearing interest payable annually, and the Board of Supervisors of the county, by ordinance, orders the election of semi-annual-interest bonds, and the people vote for the latter bonds, which are issued, and subsequently the Legislature passes a statute enacting the cure of such defect, the bonds in the hands of a bond fide purchaser for value are valid and binding on the county.</p>
