Syllabus

<p>One who gives such information to a sheriff as enables the latter to capture an escaped prisoner, even if he go with the sheriff and act as one of his posse, does not thereby become entitled to recover a reward offered by the county for the capture and delivery of the prisoner to the county jail.</p>
