<p>Criminal law — Libel—Privileged communication — Malice—Reasonable or probable cause.</p> <p>On the trial of an indictment for libel, tbe fact that a communication was privileged is not a defense, if tbe defendant acted tbrougb malice, or without reasonable or probable cause.</p> <p>One charged with libel may be convicted without proof of actual malice, if the jury find that he acted without reasonable or probable cause.</p>
