Appeal bond.—The appeal bond required by art. 1639, Revised Civil Statutes, to be executed to appeal a cause from the judgment of a justice of the peace, is required to be executed in double the amount of the judgment for the debt only, exclusive of so much of the judgment as may relate to thp cost.</p>
