Speedy trial dismiss R.C. 2945.71(B)(2) R.C. 2945.71(C)(2) R.C. 2945.72 felony misdemeanor. The trial court erred in granting the defendant's motion to dismiss on speedy-trial grounds. Because only 54 days elapsed, the speedy-trial time limits under R.C. 2945.71(B)(2) or (C)(2) were not exceeded. The time between the dismissal of the original felony charge and Gross's first appearance on the subsequent misdemeanor charge was not counted in the speedy-trial analysis.
