<p>Tax sale — Redemption—Payment of taxes.</p> <p>Where a county buys in lands at a tax sale and holds them for over five years, the title of the county becomes absolute, and it cannot be divested by the mere nonpayment of taxes on the lands by the county and the payment of the taxes by another.</p>
